Mmm, as in YUMMY!

June 22nd, 2009 by Susan Ehlers

So, for the past 3 weeks my sisters, mom and I have been tracking everything we eat, and our exercise and emailing back and forth, you know, for moral support.  The thought is, “if I have to write this down and tell my sisters I ate it, is it really worth it?”  And did you know only 3 pieces of licorice takes 30 minutes of exercise to burn off?

I was at the store tonight, (just a quick errand to grab some cereal, peanut butter and oh, yeah, brownie mix (to make this recipe), and as I was walking down the candy isle to the register I decided to look the opposite direction, at the nuts and stuff, to distract me from all the chocolate, and heaven forbid, out of the corner of my eye on the very bottom shelf, I noticed a white M&M bag.  “Christmas M&M’s already?” I thought.  Just keep walking.  Just Keep Walking.  KEEP WALKING.  But no use, I had already stopped and picked up a bag, ok, two bags, and this is what it was:

Coconut

If anyone wants a taste of Tropical Heaven this is where you will find it.  Mmm.  And yes, it’s worth reporting to my sisters!

Oh I will most definitely be on the look out for those! Coconut is my favorite. Thanks. I hope all is well with you and your cute little family. Blogs are so great to keep in touch with friends.

Here is the link to that recipe for the peanut butter cookies. They are so dang good. Enjoy!
